Asma Qureshi-LLM International Business Law
Asma from Lahore has received a Full Bright Scholarship-Award for her Bachelors of Law from University of Punjab-Quaid-e-Azam Law College which is known for its quality of education & state of the art facilities. In her dreams she always wanted study LLM in United Kingdom. She came across many options then finally decided to study for an LLM in International Business Law. She noticed that not many UK universities offer this programme. Wen she finally found that Birmingham City University is offering this programme, without a send thought she decided to join it. At her arrival at Birmingham City University and the School of Law, it was like a dream come true for her.
In a short span of time she felt that I had reached the right place with the right people. She says that Birmingham City University’s Library is also a reservoir of knowledge and supplies books, journals, magazines and e-material on every subject making it easier for students and especially international students to readily obtain the information they need. There are many off-campus/on-campus activities to refresh Birmingham City University students from their studies.
Lili Huang-MSc Management and Marketing
He chose UK mainly because of its high teaching standards. Lili Huang says that he enjoyed his studies very much as during his time of 5-week pre-session English course he got along well with his classmates, who came from different parts of the world all. The most exciting things he found were the travelling arrangements made for them – it was an excellent opportunity to make friends and get familiar with the country and its culture.
During his academic studies, he found his tutors very helpful. There were plentiful resources to access, such as international advice and career advice. There were additional courses for international students to help them with their academic study. The meaningful voluntary work made his university life more colorful.
Sourabh Joshi-BEng (Hons) Automotive
After completing his diploma in automobiles Sourabh was to take a degree in automotive engineering in the UK. When he heard about Birmingham University, he decided to take his degree from Birmingham. At the university he found the warm welcome and the friendly professors which helped him to learn. He says that the University has good facilities for the automotive sector and the labs are very hi-tech, with all the latest software.
